This Studio provides students with a guided outlook towards their architectural design project. Students first learn about Universal Design processes, tools and discuss their designs with the experts, get inputs, rework and refine them to create holistic, inclusive solutions.

Mentor

Rachna Khare, Dean at School of Planning and Architecture Bhopal, is a distinguished academic and practitioner. With a Fulbright Fellowship, she excelled in Universal Design and Special Needs research, earning awards and affiliations with global institutions. Notable for UN collaboration and inclusive design advocacy. Founder of NGO 'MITRA'.

Dr. Kavita Murugkar

Mentor

Architect Kavita Murugkar, Bharati Vidyapeeth School of Architecture's principal, pioneers inclusive design education. She established the Center for Inclusive Design and Research, recognized as a top Universal Access Specialist in India. Founder of DesignBridge Foundation, focusing on accessible spaces. Honored with the NCPEDP-MPHASIS Universal Design Award 2014. Notable work with the Accessible India Campaign.

Dr. Gaurav Raheja

Mentor

Dr. Gaurav Raheja, a Professor at IIT Roorkee, is a leading architect, researcher, and educator. His work centers on inclusive design, accessibility, and human-centered urbanism. With extensive international collaboration, he's contributed to India's accessibility standards, UN initiatives, and transformative projects. He has authored a notable book and co-authored Universal Design India Principles.
