Amit Barde is a seasoned engineering professional and the Head of the Precast Initiative, based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. With extensive expertise in precast design and construction, Amit has led projects across diverse sectors, including residential buildings, data centers, warehouses, schools, office complexes, industrial plants, stadiums, and parking decks. Previously, Amit served as the Precast Design Residential Buildings Head at L&T India and held significant positions at Metromont, where he honed his skills in structural design, performance analysis, and damage assessment of precast concrete structures. Amit’s work involves designing innovative and sustainable precast solutions, ensuring structural integrity, and conducting inspections to evaluate performance and address damage in concrete structures. His leadership in the precast domain has contributed to the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and durable structures across India and beyond.
