Gopal is the creator of the System of Water for Agriculture Rejuvenation (SWAR), an award-winning sub-surface irrigation method designed to maximize water efficiency in farming. A strong advocate for permaculture and regenerative agriculture, he continues to work on empowering farmers with climate-resilient solutions for a sustainable future.

Mr Narsanna K is a certified permaculturist from the Permaculture International Institute, Australia, with 25+ years of experience in the development sector. He serves as Secretary at Aranya Agriculture Alternatives and is a founding member of the Permaculture Association of India. An expert in sustainable agriculture and water-efficient techniques, he has led initiatives like Tree-Based Farming Systems for tribal communities. A global advocate for permaculture, he has contributed to numerous publications and evaluated natural resource management projects internationally.
