About the Speaker
Navaneethan Santhanam
Navaneethan Santhanam is an AI researcher and systems architect with over a decade of experience deploying complex intelligence solutions. At SmartTerra, he leads the development of AI and spatial analytics to combat urban water loss. His expertise spans continuous learning, explainable AI, and network clustering, with a core interest in the intersection of algorithms and human behaviour.
Previously, Navaneethan was a Lead ML Engineer at Freshworks, where he built production-scale NLP systems for noisy data channels like social media. His diverse technical background includes roles in search, location analytics, and neuroscience. He holds a Master's in Psychological & Brain Sciences from Johns Hopkins University and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Illinois.
