About the Session

From hand drafted drawings to computer aided drafting, from Computational Design to Virtual Reality, from smart automation to Artificial Intelligence, it is hard to keep pace with the latest advances in ACED industry. Yet, it is equally important to equip yourself with technologies that could potentially change the way we design and execute.

So if you are curious to discover the following, then this webinar by Anupam Bansal and Piyush Prajapati on 4th December 2021 is for you!

How can Virtual Reality change Design Workflows in Practice?

Anupam Bansal

Anupam Bansal along with Rajesh Dongre is founder of ABRD. The studio follows an evolutionary approach of design, where solutions emerge as a response to local contexts and natural environment, while being economically viable. It is is now pro-actively undertaking collaborative projects and research initiatives to create innovative & sustainable solutions. Anupam Bansal will talk about their projects and how Virtual Reality through Trezi has helped their practice.

Applications of Computational Designs and Artificial Intelligence in Architecture

Piyush Prajapati

Piyush is an architect and a computational urban designer working in Dubai. Born in India, he has done his masters from UCL, London. He was felicitated for his research that was up for an exhibition at the Pompidou Centre, Paris in 2020. He was invited to speak on Big data and AI in Architecture at an international conference, Build IT, and won a Computational Medal and distinction for his Design Project at UCL in 2014. Conferred with Best Architectural Thesis by the Council of Architecture in 2014, he has found recognition in the Middle East, MEA, and Museum of Architecture, Slovenia. He will talk about parametric architecture and how he incorporates the many tools of computational design to evolve his buildings.
