Environmental analysis helps optimise your design and reduces its energy consumption. In this course we begin with the comforts of SketchUp and move to refined mediums of analysis through Ladybug and Honey Bee. Generative design through artificial intelligence will also be taught.

Computational Urban Designers | Masters in Urban Design, UCL London 


Piyush is an architect and a computational urban designer working in Dubai. This is Piyush's fourth successful course with Acedge. Born in India, he graduated from Government College of Architecture, Lucknow, India (2014) and later on pursued Masters in Urban Design from Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, London, U.K. He is known and felicitated for his research that was up for an exhibition at the Pompidou Centre, Paris in 2020. He was invited to speak on Big data and AI in Architecture at an international conference, Build IT, and won a Computational Medal and distinction for his Design Project at UCL in 2014. His Conservation Project also received recognition from the President of India in 2015.  Conferred with  Best Architectural Thesis by the Council of Architecture in 2014, he has found recognition in the Middle East, MEA, and Museum of Architecture, Slovenia.

  • Will admissions to the Summer School only be through the Application form?

    If all seats get filled by applicants the summer school will close slots. Else the course will be opened for direct enrollment after 5th May 2021.

  • Why is there a deposit for Full Scholarship?

    The deposit is entirely refundable. The deposit is the simplest way we know to ensure dedication. The criteria for refund are 100% attendance and submission of all assignments (marks are not the criterion)

  • What will happen if we miss a class?

    Recordings are available for all classes, however, attendance will affect your chances of getting the Aced it certificate! Our Attendance & Assignment criteria for Gold Acedge It Certificate are at least 70% attendance and at least 50% score in assignments.

  • When will you let us know about the results of the application?

    We will intimate the results on 8th May and the invited participants will have to follow the admission procedure before 15th May 2021.
